A Borescopist is a well-trained, qualified sterile processing technician equipped with the knowledge, skills, tools and judgement to identify abnormalities found inside lumens and scopes. Empowered by the visual evidence they collect, Borescopists are encouraged to analyze their findings, determine whether the instrument is adequately cleaned, and speak up when abnormalities inside lumens are detected.
